Two-for-one in Tameside: Local officers nab wanted duo

Dear Residents,

 

Two males wanted in connection with multiple shoplifting offences in the Shaw Heath and Stockport Town Centre areas have now been located—thanks to the tenacity of your local neighbourhood officers.

 

Following a week on the run, both individuals were found hiding at an address in Tameside. No joint taskforce needed—just good, old-fashioned policing.

  • Male 1 was arrested, charged, and remanded after a spree of shoplifting incidents at Budgens and Co-op on Wellington Road South, Stockport. He was remanded and handed to the courts this morning.
  • Male 2 had failed to appear at court for previous offences in Stockport Town Centre. He, too, has now been handed to the courts to be dealt with accordingly.

    • We’re not running supermarket promotions—but when it comes to catching criminals, we’ll happily take two-for-one.

     

    A fantastic result that shows our officers are determined to ensure Stockport remains a safer place to live, work, and visit.
